McLaren have unveiled a surprise special livery for the season finale in Abu Dhabi.
The team’s colour scheme has been redesigmed with a rainbow effect by UAE artist Rabab Tantawy as part of BAT’s Driven by Change initiative.
“This is the first time a female artist from the Middle East has designed a bespoke Formula 1 livery,” say McLaren.

Abu Dhabi’s special design is the second special livery on McLaren’s MCL35M this season, after the car was decked out in the classic Gulf colours for the Monaco Grand Prix.
McLaren’s venture into IndyCar has also seen several special liveries in the past year with sponsors Undefeated and Vuse creating new designs for the Nashville race and Indianapolis 500 respectively.
McLaren go into the last F1 race of the year with an outside chance of taking back 3rd from Ferrari in the constructors battle but Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris may struggle to overhaul the deficit.
